The Sundog Volt photovoltaic systems trainer is a complete working model of an off-grid photovoltaic system complete with photovoltaic modules, inverter, production meter, battery bank, and all the other components that the student would expect to encounter in the field. All the professional grade components are mounted so that they are easily accessible to the student. The trainer itself is built on a mobile frame so that it can be moved easily. All components are labeled according to the National Electric Code component descriptions. The PV Trainer helps facilitate quick and easy rec­ognition of the parts of a PV system and the roles they play.
